This page is a space to share the “in-between” projects — the experiments, side passions, and work that continues to shape how I approach storytelling, collaboration, and design.

Acting

Small Mouth Sounds | Winter 2025

Playwright: Bess Wohl | Director: Peter J. Kuo | University of California, Davis

I performed in Small Mouth Sounds, my first formal acting experience, as part of an intimate six-person cast. The play follows individuals at a silent retreat where communication happens almost entirely without dialogue. I played Alicia, a young woman who is loud even when she’s trying to be quiet. Stepping into her character — someone who feels like the complete opposite of who I am — was both refreshing and eye-opening.

The role challenged me to tell a story through body language, gesture, and presence rather than words, and it gave me a new appreciation for nonverbal storytelling. While acting was far more difficult than I expected, it was also incredibly fulfilling and fun, and it taught me how powerful human connection can be without speech.

Social Media Management

Instagram 2021-2025

UCDFITS is a student-run Instagram showcasing diverse fashion around the UC Davis community. I help manage the account by creating and publishing content, planning outreach strategies, and collaborating with local businesses and student clubs. Highlights include leading marketing meetings, organizing campus events, and producing content with partners like Yesterday Vintage in Davis, CA and Whole Earth Festival with UC Davis.

Academic Advising

University of California, Davis 2022-2025

As an academic advisor, I support undergraduate students with course planning, major requirements, registration, and navigating university resources. I collaborate with faculty, staff, and fellow advisors to ensure consistent and effective guidance. In addition to one-on-one advising, I design and create posters and digital materials to promote advising services and provide helpful resources for students. I also use platforms like Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, OASIS, MyDegree, and Canvas to track advising information and streamline support.
